Just got home from quad work on a Sunday and yes I was the only one doing hack squats. Six sets all the way up to four plates on each side. I have always done hacks when I had access to a machine, but I have always loved squats also. My last leg workout I went back to heavy squating and It fucking put me down because of my back. I laid in bed for two days. I am very intense on leg days today was 17 sets of pain including warm ups, but i didn't squat and I am feeling guilty. I am now having to rely on the hack machine, the leg press, weighted lunges, and ext for my quads. Just so I can bend at my middle the next day and not eat muscle relaxers. So we will see. my 2 cents.
